Help Google Chrome and ICS? They don't seem to get along.....

Has anyone else been having problems running Chrome on their Iconia? I just tried it, for the second time, and am going to uninstall it. Every time I open Chrome, it force closes or does not respond. Is it an issue with my Iconia or Chrome?

It's not a problem with the tablet or ICS. The browser is just not stable. The reviews for tablets on Google Play are not glowing either. Maybe it's better for tiny phones screens. I have tried it now at least a half a dozen times -- each when I saw a new update -- and it has always made the whole tablet unstable and prone to spurious reboots. I installed it for the last time several weeks ago. They should just drop chrome for Android if they can't put anymore into it than that. There are several much better browsers available with much richer features anyway. I use Dolphin almost exclusively anymore, in spite of the occasional crash. The only other browser I use is Opera Mobile, because it has remained so consistently stable, and like Dolphin, handles desktop pages very well. Dolphin continues to dominate with the best collection of features and options though, which is why I tend to use it more often.

Well, I removed Chrome. I would think Google would be able to make it more stable and predictable right out of the gate.....guess I'll stick to Dolphin......
