I have successfully synced my Gmail/Google contacts to the phone and have since done some reorganization on the Gmail side (such as added birthdays).
When the phone syncs (or I choose to make it sync manually), it overwrites the information that was changed in Gmail. So for example, in Gmail I added John Smith's birthday which currently is not on my Incredible --- I sync the phone with Google contacts and it deletes John Smith's birthday (that I just added) in Gmail.
Is there a way to have the phone treat Gmail/Google contacts as the default contacts so it PULLS from gmail and doesn't PUSH thereby overwriting changes I make? Its easier to update a bunch of contacts on the computer versus the phone so I hope someone can help with this. Thanks in advance.
