I originally ordered the 8GB. Then realized it is worth the extra $50 for double the storage. So I called Google to upgrade my order. After 20 minutes on hold I talk to a Rep. He asks me to hold while he completes the transaction. He comes back a minute later and tells me my order is cancelled and that ill get an email with a confirmation in 24 to 48 hours. Then I can reorder the 16GB. Kinda pissed me off. Now I guess I'm just gonna wait. Could have easily just charged me the extra $50 instead, especially since the price of the 8gb was already taken from my account.

It's not as simple as that, especially when credit cards are involved. That hassle has more to do with the CC process more than anything else.

Currently going through your situation. Just waiting for that email makes me feel like I'm falling farther and farther down the reserved list lol.

Got the email today telling me they can't make the change and if I'd like they'll cancel and I can buy the 16gb. Um yeah. I was already told that. Do it already.

I would have been fine with them charging me a second time and taking the hold off my card for the original purchase. Wasn't even offered the option.

I just don't understand how hard it can possibly be to let a computer manage orders. That seems to work for smaller, little known companies like Amazon...
