Help Google drive sync local file

Lurker
What is the best way for my Google Drive account to always be synced with a local folder on my tablet, so that I can edit files on my tablet and the file will be updated on Google's servers.
Currently I'm using an app called FolderSync which I have set to check for updates every hour but I would prefer a more instant method that updates instantly. As comes times I have to manually tell the app to update and wait for files. Ideally I would like to be able to download a file on my laptop > put in in my Google drive folder > Be able to access file within a few minutes (Without having to tell a app to check for updates)
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Isn't that the whole idea how drive works? I can edit files from within drive and they are updated instantly in the cloud. Or maybe I'm reading your problem wrong...

Foldersync can be set to sync immediately when files are added. That is how I have mine setup.
Hi raytan

Do you have the paid version or the free?
Is that feature only available for the paid version, if not how to I set it up.
Thanks for your reply.

I have the paid version. I don't remember if that was available in the free version.
It's the first selection under "Sync options". I also have "two way sync on" for some folders to that any changes made on any device are reflected on the others.
