Google Drive has an update that adds more features but for some reason it is only on my s3. I have tested it on my tablet and I have no problems. I tried to put the apk file in the post put it would not let me. If it works for your Nexus 7, please let me know. If you have problems I can try to help out if I can. My Nexus 7 is running this version of Drive. I didn't do anything special except to install the update from Play.
