Google Earth is not on Android Market for my Flytouch 3. However, I found the .apk on Google's webiste and installed it. Unfortunately it won't run. Anybody have a workaround?
Thanks for reply. If what you suggest is true, doesn't that imply that Google Earth makes calls directly to the processor instruction set bypassing Android. I wonder why they would do that.
This Android business reminds me of the early days of PC-DOS.

some apps use Native code (you can check by opening the .APK and seeing if there is a lib folder)
Apps like Google Earth, Firefox Flash, need processor functions not present in ARMv6 processors, and these processors are far too slow to emulate these functions
