Google experience launcher on international S3

anyone managed to get this fully working?

i installed the new search app and the GEL but can't get widgets to work when i add them to the home screens

they just sit there doing nothing

anyone help?

Just guessin but doesnt it require 4.4? I honestly dont know.... dont fancy the launcher myself lol
