For me, it brings the best of twitter and facebook - but without the facebook gloits (yet).

I just got on it yesterday. Still figuring things out. If I create a circle can other people search for that circle or do they have to search for me?

They can see the people in your circles - but they search for you as a person.

According to some reports it opened up again briefly early today. It's probably worth keeping an eye on our Google + forum for breaking news.

I got an invite today and got in, I'm still quite 'lonely', seeing as how my friends are mostly Dutch and most of them are still stuck on Facebook.

If anyone here would like an invite, i'd be more than happy to send you one.. gives me someone to add to my circles and get to know what I can do with Google+ in more detail. Just hit me a pm.
