Help google going dim when searching

[Deleted User]

Hi all I'm new here, I've recently got the desire z I'm pleased with it, apart from when I'm searching on google sometimes the list of sites comes up then if I go to the next page then the listing goes dim keeping the same page and I have to restart the phone, it won't go back to home or anything. I've tried taking the battery out etc, many thanks in advance for your help

Welcome to the forums, russ.

I'm wondering if you have the screen timeout setting too low.

Menu > settings > sound and display > screen timeout.
