Anyone know if Goggles is a known battery hog?

Went to bed last nite with a full battery and woke to find the phone around 20% battery life.

Checking "what has been using the battery" came up with Goggles using 70%...I last used Goggles 24 hours prior to putting it to bed last nite, and of course this is an app without an "exit" or "quit" menu choice....

I looked in the "running apps" list and it wasnt there, but from the "whats been using the battery" i was able to get into the app screen and force stop...

I am uninstalling for the time being....

anyone??

Same here; Goggles is showing as using 90% of my battery consumption when I have only used it to take two pictures.

I think there must be a bug in the most recent version...

You can force close the application by going to settings > applications > manage applications then find the application and click on it then force close.
I do this every time after using Goggles and it has been fine.

For me it seems that goggles are one of those that plays tricks with your phone especially if battery. It is not unusual for me to go to bed with WiFi turned on and find my phone at 10% battery. I think the overall consensus must be that the Evo definatelly does not like the battery it came with.

The only way I can get Goggles to stop eating my battery is to turn the phone off then on again. Then I get the Swype bug and that does not work - Doh!
