A couple of leaksters have corroborated thoughts of Google announcing Android VR next week at Google IO. According to Peter Rojas, Android VR is a virtual reality headset. It's a standalone unit that is said to be lesser than the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift in terms of power. Evan Blass -- another popular and trustworthy leakster -- seemed to confirm this suspicions.
Previous rumors suggested Google would be making a more advanced version of Google Cardboard, and that it could use Project Tango to enhance the VR experience.
