Help Google Maps 4.4.0 - Forced Close Bug?

just tried it, it didn't force close on me the first time I opened it!
I'll update if anything happens, but looks good for now!

I have the popup too, every 5 to 10 seconds. It remains when GPS is turned off. I did not try any uninstall/reinstall hacks.
