Help Google Maps 5 on Milestone

Hello, I have a motorola milestone in Brazil. Recently google launched google maps 5. Which I tried to download on the market but I cannot find it. Clicking on the direct link to the market that google posted on it's blog crashed my market app. Searching for pub:"Google Inc." in the market shows google's official apps. But maps isn't there.

My maps app says it's running version 3.2.1. My phone settings says I'm using Firmware version 2.0.1.

Is there a problem with Milestone that doesn't support Google Map updates or is it a localization issue?

Is there any workaround I could do on my end to install Google Maps 5 anyway?

I bet it is because of your outdated firmware. The latest Motorola provided software was 2.1 update 1 and there also is an unofficial 2.2.1 which I have and I upgraded Maps to the version you are looking for without any problems.
