Help Google Maps not in apps list

I cannot find the Google Maps app anywhere. When I go to the Marketplace, it says it is installed but it isn't listed in the apps and I would like to put the app icon on my phone. Help!

I cannot find the Google Maps app anywhere. When I go to the Marketplace, it says it is installed but it isn't listed in the apps and I would like to put the app icon on my phone. Help!

I know you say Google maps is installed, but double check. In the google market, click menu then my apps. See if Google Maps is listed. It may need updating.

After you've checked for it in the market, go back to your home screen. Click the all apps pull-down and view all your apps in list order. Look for Maps and add it to the home screen of choice.

No problem, glad you found it! Not sure why they dropped their name off of it. They did that about a year ago. I had trouble finding it after that specific update too!
