Google Maps send as text

A very useful feature has gone missing or am I missing something?
I use this facility a lot but now the link is gone from google maps.Only options are e-mail, GPS etc but no text to phone.
Has this been pulled?

So......no one else used this feature which is no longer available

Don't know about that feature, but you can send your position (in a link to google maps) directly from Handcent now.
