google maps want update on each restart?

Hi,

I just make this update, but when I make a restart google maps want make an update again and again.
is there a way to stop this update, once I downloaded it?

I'm not sure if this definitely works for all, but it has worked for me in the past.

• Go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
• Select the 'All' tab
• Find & select 'Download Manager'
• Tap the 'Clear data' button (and possibly 'Force Close' to stop the re-download straight away)

See if this works and let us know.

just done, and it seems to work.
nice, now I dont have to reset the whole device, coz google was not alone which wanted download a lot of stuff.....)
