This happened to me as well. I just went to my app drawer and it opened perfectly fine.

That's funny im at the verizon store now posting on the fascinate and it has google maps on it and a separate navigation icon for it and it worked perfectly. I'm thinking of returning my DX and getting the fascinate.

What does that mean "the apps drawer"? Ive had a DINC since they first came out and while i am not a genius by any means know my way around Android somewhat. Thanks!

When you click the button that says "Applications" on your Fascinate, it brings up your app drawer, which shows all your apps. I am not sure if that is what it is technically called. That is just what I call it. Lol.

Cool, thx. Thats what I thought but wanted to make sure. Why should it launch from there but not off a shortcut on a home page??

Can anyone confirm or deny that voice turn by turn navigation does not work in Google Navigation on the Fascinate? Thanks.

Edit: NVM, I see a thread on Android Central that Google Maps/GPS/Spoken Turn By Turn Navigation works perfectly fine on the Fascinate.
