My Incredible just popped up with an update to Google Maps! We now have pinch to zooom!

I kinda figured something like this would happen since the eris 2.1 update just came out with pinch to zoom maps


Any1 having issues with it tho? Mine seems to be acting kinda funky...

They did release an update, but it was to add a dedicated Navigation Icon and Bike Routes. Pinch to Zoom has been there for a while.

After the update, you must restart your phone. The icon will show up in your app launcher.

Either you didn't update/install correctly or you're overlooking it. It should be a big blue arrow labeled "Navigation" within your app launcher.

Strange. I uninstalled, then reinsatlled the update, pulled the battery and then it was there. Is the "choose Destination" screen new? I never saw that before.

but yes there is now a dedicated, blue arrow icon for navigation... its in the launcher. it should show up after the update.
