Help Google Music Beta and DX w/GB

I just got an invite to Google Music beta and set it up then installed it on my DX.

It shows 2 Music apps with GB, the OEM one (ver 2.3.3) and the Music beta (ver 3.0.1) is this correct?

Also I cannot find where to set the sync for music beta.. it is not in Settings>Accounts

I have uninstalled and reinstalled music beta and have rebooted the phone.

What next?
 
Go into your new Music Beta app, hit Menu, then go into Settings. You'll find your account setup there.
 
DAMMIT!!! I am having the exact same issue. I found an older apk that allowed me to see the "settings" menu, but when I click on accounts, my Google account doesn't appear. I tried to update to the new market version and the settings meny went away. Online, My X appears as an authorized device, and I did have everything synced at some point, but i had to wipe my phone and never bothered to sync again. Music isn't in the list of things to sync in my Google account.:mad:
 
Mine doesn't appear in account settings of Android either. It's in the music app itself.

Launch the Music app, hit Menu > Settings > Google Account.

As the OP mentioned, The Music app's menu only displays Shuffle and Search. There is no Settings option in the menu for the music app. I found an older apk that did show it, but my Google account wasn't listed there. It's so frustrating becasue I have the Beta invite and I know what should happen, but it just won't work.
 
Nope. No settings option. I may try disabling access to my phone from the music app on my PC, and reenable it to see what happens. This is getting ridiculous, as I've tried it like 5 times today and can't get it to work.

Yes, the stock X player. Would that matter?

I installed this APK first, that gave me the settings, then I updated through the market.

Thanks for this. I actually tried following your steps and found an earlier version. I do get the settings option with the older apk, but for whatever reason, when I hit Accounts, my Google account won't populate on the screen for me to select.

I tried checking the Google help, and apparently there is a known issue regarding accounts populating properly, but I can't say if it's causing my issue. It sounds related, but either way, it's bugging the hell out of me!
