Google Music

I have ask for an "invitation" for Google music. Anybody know when the turn around time is on that request being "granted"?
The whole concept sounds great. I watched the YouTube video on it. Can't wait.

I sent out an invite request roughly 1 month ago, or as soon as they made it available, and received my invite roughly 1 week ago.

I have it up and running on my OG Droid and it works flawlessly. Roughly 6k songs in the cloud all sync'd with my phone and playing well.

I received my Googe Music invite, but of course the app isnt available for Eris with 2.1. Is there an apk that Will work on it? or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

I couldn't get the Google Music update to work on my Droid, but it works very well on my Epic... So, it likely comes down to hardware.

Maybe a ROM (or different one) would solve the problem...

I got my invite about 2 weeks after I requested one. Up and streaming on my OG Droid. I believe you do have to have the stock music player tho. Not sure on that but who knows. Works great, now to get all the music of my SD card.

Got my invite to the beta a week or two after the request. Still making up my mind, but seems pretty good so far. One hiccup is that it won't upload any DRM music, so it skipped over about 650 songs out of my 8,200 song collection. I can live with it...

I've been using Google Music since last week. It is a great concept, with all my music library available on cloud and all, but it hogs down battery like... crazy. It could be a good alternative when I forget to bring my Sansa Clip +, but I wouldn't use it on daily basis.

It took about 2 weeks for mine to complete also. All my music is now in the cloud. I still have kept some of it on the SD card just incase..
