Help Google Nav problem

Yesterday I was using my fm transmitter (using a 3.5 mm cable) to play pandora on my speakers and I was also running navigation (google). Everything worked great (such as pandora stopping when google nav talks) but the problem I had was when I got a call from someone, the music stopped as normal but the google nav still talked during the call. Is there some setting I have to change to stop this from happening or is it just a freak occurrence? Thank you.

I think it might be a priority thing, it is trying to tell you where to turn/navigate..etc. and if you are on a call and it stops talking well you are going to miss a turn that is the way I look at it.
