Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my nexus to latest version, but i come up with this screen ( Google and lock logo) and its been overnight already.. i dont know what happened. ANy one here please help me, what should i do..?? I tried to press the power on/off several times but it always come back with this..

Please.. i just want to return to normal my nexus...

If you did an OTA upgrade, it's Google's responsibility, so contact them. If you did it yourself, there are a number of possibilities - you used a bad update file, you flashed it wrong, some hardware chose the wrong time to go bad ... not something we can diagnose online. You'll have to bring it in and get a repair estimate.

Sounds like the tablet is locked in a bootloop. Since you see the padlock icon, it means your bootloader is unlocked. Did you ever root the device and install a custom recovery? If not, you'll likely need to flash the factory image through the bootloader to get it up and running.

the problem also here is that when i i run the nexus tool kit..it says ADB was not found..can you tell me how to root the device in other way?thank you

In order for adb to run, the device needs to be mostly booted up. Since the device gets stuck before that point, it can't be used. To root, you'd have to flash a custom recovery through the bootloader, and then flash the root binary in custom recovery. You'd be best off flashing the factory image through the bootloader to get the device up and running and then try to root the device.

I made it, and it says fastboot not found :( what i am missing here.. do you have any idea what to do? I really appreaciate your help jawk ...
