Google now for CM9

I've been using CM9 Baltic Avenue. I love this ROM and I've been sticking to it until the bugs in CM 10.1 get worked out because frankly everything just works on this CM9 ROM. Anyways I was able to successfully get the android 4.2 keyboard with gesture typing and the 4.2 camera to work with this ROM. I can't seem to get Google now to work though. I've already tried the gnow handlebars. Any suggestions?

If I could get Google now to work on this ROM I might just keep this as my DD for a long while. I mean it's literally bug free AOSP.
