My wife's M8s Google now traffic is not working. I've checked gps and location settings and those are on. Anytime she goes to Google now and tries to input our home address it says Google can't be reached at the moment. This has been going on for two days. Mine on my m8 is working just fine.

Go into the app manager and uninstall updates for google search. Then let google play update it. if that doesnt work, clear google search's application data within the app manager.

Just attempted both and got nothing

Try changing Settings > Language & Keyboard > Voice Search > Choose input languages and set it to English.
If that doesn't fix it, it could be a 3rd party app messing with the microphone. Boot into Safe Mode and see if the problem persists.
