Google Now

Anyone got any good Google Now tips?
My only tip is that you can enter voice commands as text in the search bar. Handy if the voice recognition doesnt like your accent.
The command combination i use most is "remind me "........." at/when ".................".
Anyone know any useful commands or just cool things we can do with Now?

Oh yeah, hitting the mic and letting it hear music to identify it is cool and imo better than Shazam or Soundhound :thumbup:

SPEED:

Google Now > Settings > Phone Search
Uncheck/check only what you want Google Now to search. For example, I don't want it to search Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Google Sky Map, Browser (stock), etc. so those are unchecked

Settings > Apps > All
Disable "Search Application Provider"

Voice Commands:

What are the hours of <name of business>

How far is <location>

Where is <location>

Showtimes for <movie>

Do a barrel roll

Google pictures of <object, person, etc.>

Remind me < >

Set alarm <time>

Call <contact name>

Note <body of note>

Listen to <local song file name>
(make sure you have your music app selected as searchable)

Send text to <contact name> subject <message>

or

I would like to get to know Google Now better but I only have it on the tablet, since the phone is running GB, it's not included. I have been playing around with it and find it pretty nice.
