Root Google Play Error

Here we go into the land of make believe.......


Is it possible to have a new PRL included in a rom? I don't know if what I am asking makes sense. Could it be included in ctmod? or ICS/CM9? Something so a new PRL doesn't have to be installed manually on the pc? I know it's alot to ask. Until I install an older version of windows I am stuck without DFS running. No way to flash a different PRL.

Why won't dfs work? I use it on my windows 7 environment all the time.

Edit: just saw that your running windows 8 evaluation. My bad.

Pretty sure that a PRL cannot be flashed with a ROM. I think that info is on a different partition on the internal and not even sure CWM has access to that area.
 
just an update. installed virtual pc with windows xp. got everything i needed downloaded and ran DFS. Stupid xp kept shutting down and restarting everytime it detected my marquee. said to hell with it and uninstalled pc. going to find someone with windows 7 locally. can't trust isohunt.... back to the drawing board.

The good thing is that it doesn't take long at all to flash the PRL once everything is set up. Less than 5 minutes.

That would be cool if you've got a friend close by that would let you use their PC.:) Too bad you're not close to Bakersfield, Ca or I would hook you up.

LOL. Yeah. Too bad. Need to find some Marquee users around the lake area.

Awesome bro! Glad that ya got it working. :)

I'm in the process of getting my Marquee set back up the way I want it since getting it back from LG yesterday. CTMod, new HyperKernel and the HC theme.... So far so good. I'm 1 happy fella since I got it back. They ended up replacing the board in it.No wonder it wouldn't even power up. lol
