google play missing

Hello guys

I have received s4 from my company as office phone. I couldn't find google play in it. They have hidden it. If I go in settings-apps it is installed there and running but it is not anywhere in the phone. I can't reset my phone or anything.

I suggest using the work phone as intended by your company without attempting to sidestep any security measures they have set up.

Use Web browser and re download play that way. If there is a block then you won't see it once you download it again. If there is no block then the icon will appear with out doing a wipe.

Without wishing to sound sanctimonious, I agree with Marc_G. If your employer has given you a phone for work and they have chosen to put restrictions on what you can do, they are doing so to protect the business. There is a lot of Android malware out there and Google cannot possibly check everything in the Play Store.

Just for a minute, suppose that you circumvented the security controls on your phone and installed an app that, unknown to you, monitored your keyboard activity and then captured some of your work credentials. If that information were used to steal data or compromise your employer's systems, not only would it be completely your fault, it would actually look like you did it.

If you want something installing, ask your IT department. Don't get sacked for doing something stupid and then find no-one will give you a job.
