Google Play Store Change Today

Today the Google Play store changed it's look, and I just wanted to say that to those that have had the change they may be wondering where the option is to choose not to auto update as before the option was below each app on the store itself, but now what you have to do if you need to change the auto update setting is once you have the store already opened click on Menu then settings, and you should see options there to choose from.

It looks nice, but Christ, those icons are massive! They're far too big now. I'm sure I'll get used to it, first world problems and all that.

Yeah I thought they were massive too, must be for the people with bad eyesight.

I have checked the app on the phone, and it is indeed 4.0.27, how did this download though? as I never received a notification for it, and like I say I just found out about it when I decided to click on the store earlier.

Perhaps it was a forced upgrade.

Think this answers my question.

I notice that Google+ still doesn't open directly from the play store even with this new store version, I know the reason why it doesn't, do you still find that too?, or perhaps you don't use Google+.

More importantly I think they should have the OPEN/UNINSTALL/INSTALL buttons at a slightly more distance from each other as you would be less likely to hit the wrong one with your finger, maybe if they had done this as opposed to having those larger icons!

Can we get reminders when wishlist apps go on sale yet? That's a feature I've been wanting without a third party app for so long.

I dont like this new version (update) of Google play, the icons look like they are aimed at children compared to the icons of the original version. Change it back I say...

I like the new version. It fells a lot more responsive than before. I couldn't give a flying one what it looks like; it is functionality that matters most to me and I can navigate a lot more swiftly on this new version.
