Root Google Play Store startup

I have been trying to disable the auto run on startup for the Google Play Store app. The newer version keeps re enabling it. I have tried both gemini app manager and autostarts, no luck. I have resorted to freezing it. Any ideas on how to keep the auto run on boot disabled without keeping it frozen?

maybe restore an older version. is there anything special about the newer version?

I could try that, though I have found that it tends to auto update itself the last time i uninstalled updates to it.. I do like to keep the auto run stuff down to a minimum. I totally removed the amazon app store when i found that it always runs when you run any app you got from them and that all the apps from them I downloaded would quit when they found the app store frozen or uninstalled (kinda makes me not trust Amazon at that point)..
