Google Play store

I hope someone can answer this for me. Does everyone have the same play store on there phone. Like does my play store on my prevail give me the same material on lets say galaxy S3 and if not then why?

The Play Store on your device will show you apps which it thinks are compatible with that device. So if there is an app which is compatible with one device but not the other it will be visible only on that device.

When you look at an app description in the Play Store it will tell you what android versions it is compatible with, but compatibility may also depend on screen resolution, chipset, etc. If you look at an app via the web (play.google.com) it should show you which of your devices it is compatible with.

If you go to play.google.com on a browser you can see all apps on Google Play. After you select an app it will then show you if it is compatible with any of your devices.

If you go to the play store on your phone it will only show apps that are compatible with your device you are currently on.

Ex. I wanted to buy Madden12 when my daughter pointed out to me it was on sale on Play, but I hadn't seen it on sale on my phone. I found it when I was on a browser, but was unable to buy it because I did not currently have a compatible device on Google Play.

Sometimes the software developers dont update the device listing for newer phones quickly. A note to the developer with your phone may help motivate them to do so.
