Google Play Uk

[dobbor1]

Hi, I live in the UK and use a HTC One. When I search for apps on Google play I get a good list. When I do the same search on my car media system I get a much less of a list which doesn't seem to include items from the UK. Specifically the TomTom apps. The car system doesn't show UK and Ireland but lists the TomTom apps for Mexico, South Africa etc. Please help.

Thanks Dobbo.

I believe that when you start Play on a device, it only displays apps that are compatible with that device.

Compatability can be affected by a number of factors, though I think it's primarily the version of Android the device is running and the screen sizes the apps support.

Thanks for the reply. How do you change the screen resolution? My car system is 800 x 446 and not the usual 800 x 480? I can only seem the change the dpi either using an app or in the build.prop file.

You can't change the screen resolution (to my knowledge), just the dpi unfortunately.

Lol i think an iphone car would be a daft american 2 tonne muscle-car that can only do straight roads. Android car would be a european or japanese rally-car... with lazer-beams
