Im running the latest mtdev cm7 and i flashed it about a day or two ago and ever since i cant update google search. I know the update isnt that great but i only got it so it says google on the holo launcher JB search bar, any ideas? I cant find it on the play store at all.

Google Search
Google Voice Search

Also, try going into Settings - Applications - Manage Applications - All
See if Google Search is installed. If it is not then go ahead and try to access the above links from your phone's web browser. If it is installed, try to clear data, check again to see if it is working? If it is not, uninstall and reinstall.

It looks like they removed it for GB users. Not sure if you can see it using thunderprop.

I think theyve changed the old google search into google now only, all the comments are for the nexus and nexus 7 and motorola xoom

I managed to get mine updated by going over to APK top. Try that. Guess I will have to mirror more software...
