Help Google search Queries

I am using Dolphin HD browser to browse the internet on my Evo. This morning, out of the blue, when I type anything into Google, my search query is now covered over by asterisks, as if I am typing in a password. This is driving me crazy!!!! It only happens on Google, so I doubt it is a browser setting. Has this happened to anyone else? I should also note that it only does it in Mobile view. If I turn off mobile view, then my search query is visible as I type it up. If anyone can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
If others are experiencing it, it is likely something on Google's end, and nothing to do with my settings, or anything on my phone. I'm glad I can stop toggling settings, and trying different configurations, but I am still no less annoyed at this glitch. I hope it resolves itself soon!

Strange, I haven't had a problem with google web search or the google/google voice search widget.

Have you checked your system updates and rebooted? Not sure if that will fix anything but thought I would throw it out there.
