Hi

Some strange has happened recently.

The Google Search widget, which I have positioned at the top of my home screen, doesn't respond to touch anymore.

Tap it - nothing happens.

Most peculiar.

Any ideas ?

(OS = Android 4.12)

Thanks

Thanks

It's showing 0kb cache, and clear cache buttons are greyed out (but I removed widget a while back).

Tried re-enabling it but still didn't work ..

And I then stopped the app (in App Manager), and turned off "notifications" - now it's completely disappeared from the phone !

Did you force stop it, or did you disable it? If you disabled it, re-enable it to get it back. Or else, try a reboot and see.

I've re-enabled it again, and put widget back on homescreen.

The app manager has Move to SD card, Clear data, Clear cache & Clear defaults all greyed out.

It still doesn't respond when I touch the widget on homescreen.

May be it died ?
