Help Google Services Framework Error

ophia921

Lurker
:mad:Phone was fine last night. I noticed in my text messages, that it no longer showed the name and photo of the person, just the phone number (blank image box). I just plugged my phone into the charger (b/c the battery was getting low) before I went to bed. I wake up this morning, same issue. So I power cycled my phone. When it came back up, there was a different background than what I had. Then come the error messages....

"The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Rebooting the phone doesn't resolve it. I cannot access my address book b/c the same error message comes up. No Google+ either. Other applications not related to Google seem to work just fine.

There are no Google Services running when I check in my applications. So I can't clear that or anything.

Any suggestions?

I only say it because no one else has had any suggestions, but factory reset. It's the only way I know how to resolve issues with the software that comes on your phone unless you are rooted.
It can be a pain, but backup your apps list on appbrain and after the wipe install appbrain first and at least adding back all the apps you did have won't be quite as much of a pain. Just make sure you do that last part with a good WiFi connection instead of over 3g.
