Help Google Settings don't stick?

When I was using my old Samsung Intercept, I would frequently use the browser to look up stuff, but I set my setting to not save my searches. I would like to do the same on my EVO 3D, but every time I set it to not save searches, I go back into the settings just to find it set to save them again. Is there anyone else experiencing this, or anyone that knows how to fix it?

The browser. Sorry, should have specified. If I use the browser to change settings, they don't stick. I'm logged in under my google account, but the changes don't save.
