I use GrooVe IP To make calls with my Google voice number on WiFi. It works well enough. The actual Google voice app is ok for text messages with my Google number.
I like it. I give my gvoice number out to people and when they call i ignore their call. If it is important they leave a voice mail which gvoice converts to a text and i can read what they wanted. The voip app is very good. A while back my bro was in the hospital and i could not get a cell signal in the hospital but a great WiFi connection. Just used the g-voip app for each call and it worked great. If you get the pay version, it will let you make voip calls over the cell data network. Gvoice sees Boost as Sprint so you can use the gvoice voice mail in place of Sprints voice mail.
