Help Google Voice and Dialpad

Asherlc

Hi all,

I'm an avid user of Google Voice, and love that my Hero automatically calls from my GV number. However, when I receive a GV call, I have to hit "1" on the dialpad to accept the call. Since Android by default hides the dialpad during a call, this means I have to turn the screen back on, hit "Show Dialpad" and then press "1". If the person I'm on the phone with is especially impatient, this can sometimes mean losing the call.

Is there a way for the dialer app to keep the dialpad up no matter what? I have very little use for seeing the picture of the person I'm calling.

Thanks,
Asher

Turn off call screening and you won't have to press 1 at all. I think you may have to do this from a desktop, not phone app.
