Google voice and text messages.

[Britney]

I am using google voice to get visual voice mail, however it is using up my limited text messages. Is there a way I can avoid the visual voice mail from going to text and access them directly through my gmail?.
As well as, my voice to text on google voice is usually unreadable...is this normal?.

TIA.

I use the transcribing too, uncheck Send a Text Message to: Mobile under Settings/Voicemail and SMS.

you can also send to your email from your google voice account.
