Help Google voice app and making internet call need some help.

Hello everyone,

So I downloaded the google voice app and I have been using the google voice app for voice mail, but then I though hey maybe I can make phone calls with this too. I also noticed that in the settings of our phones for the call settings, there is an internet call settings. There is an internet "accounts" section too. Can I add my google voice account here?
I also noticed that I can set the voicemail service to google voice, but it says that it cannot for some reason, but then after I click ok it goes back to Google Voice.

I also wanted to know if I can use both wifi and the 4G network instead of my wireless minutes?

Sorry this is all over the place, but obviously you can see that I am confused.

Thanks

GV is not a voip service, although I believe that you can send text messages via wifi.
In order to use it for voice over wifi, you need to get a third party voip app/service. Some of them can be configured to work with Google Voice, but I haven't tried it.
I got the same message setting up the voicemail, ignored it and it works fine.
