Google Voice Hangs on Droid

Got Google Voice, using my existing number. Set voicemail service to use Google Voice in phone settings.

When I select the Google Voice app on the phone a message comes up (call settings...reading settings) and just hangs?

Anyone know what's going on and how I can fix?

Lovely that everyone welcomed this guy, but does anyone have a solution for the hanging problem? I have the same issue.
 
I have the same problem. Anyone figure out how to fix it? This problem started when I upgraded to a new phone.
