WTH? Figures, I found someone to hook me up with an invite for google voice, and 2 days after I sign up google sends me an invite from way back when I requested one months ago. If thats not enough, the same thing just happened to my wife too. Google finally deciding to invite more people now? Anyone else get an invite from requesting one from google lately?

Sorry, I didnt mean google sent me invites to send out. I meant they sent me an invite to gvoice after I requested one from their website months ago. I finally got a gvoice invite from a very generous user here, and 2 days later google invites me to sign up for a gvoice account, go figure. Same thing happened to my wife...

Same thing here, though I didn't get an invite from a forum member.

I had signed up with google months ago to get an invite and they just sent me the email on Friday. Hardest part is picking your new number.

question. the other night i got my invite from google, i was drunk and surly and ended up using the wrong area code. google wants me to pay a one time 10 dollar fee to change the number, google makes enough money as it is, they dont need my measly 10 bucks. could i make another gmail and invite myself then just use the new gmail instead of my current one on my phone?
