Coming from an OG Droid while I wait for the Gnex to come out. Figure I'd give this phone a shot during the wait with the extended return period.
I was attempting to set up Google Voice as my Voicemail provider and I get a message saying that my carrier does not support this feature...even though I had this on my OG Droid? Is this because Verizon wants me to pay for their Visual Voicemail app, instead of using Google Voice for free? Will root be able to get around this limitation? I'm kind of confused why this is the case, seeing as how it's worked on my OG Droid.
