I remember seeing a picture of a mic next to the search bar ... but could never get it to work, just recently i noticed the mic is now completely gone. I updated google maps to 3.1.2 it says it now has "search by voice" but the mic is no where to be found when i search... anyone get the google voice search to work? and with google maps?

Mine never had a mic next to the search icon. I saw that on my friend's rooted G1 running 1.5, but he didn't remember how he set that up.
Maybe we don't have it because we are running Sprint Nuance voice control??
