Google Voice Search

So me and my dad have the same version of Google Voice Search but for some reason his wont recognize anything.

I can say "Text Mom...Hey mom, whats up?" and it works perfect. When he says the same thing, his puts all the word "Text Mom...hey mom, whats up? in the text box but doesn't put Mom in the To box.

He also cant get it to work when you say "Call ...."

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks, hope I made some sense.

I did have that same problem, but somehow it has gone away... only to be replaced with another problem (Voice search wants to send texts to our land-line phone rather than my wife's cell phone).
