google wallet : more money!

So....set up Google wallet and was given another $10 credit. "Another" because I received $10 when I set it up on my SGN.

Nice! :D

Congrats, Slowhat, very nice! :)

I have not gotten $10, I think. Has everyone else? I did get $25 play credit so I am happy with that!

Yes I got another $10 after setting up wallet on the N7, after getting it on my phone. Each device has a different user id so keep in mind the balance does not update across everything

Can you do a screenshot of the $20 balance?

I dont think you understand how it works, its individual to the device. We got $10 on the phone, and $10 on the N7. When you add the prepaid card it assigns a different user id, the balances aren't usable between the two

So what you're saying is that it's 2 different $10 credits on 2 different Google pre-paid CCs?

But if you setup google wallet to get the $10, where can you spend it? Does it only work for NFC purchases?

I can't even set up Google Wallet on the N7, keep getting an error. I have it set up though, from my computer not another device.

I can log in with my laptop browser, and from the device, but can't add a credit card to it. It always errors and closes.

Does anyone know if, after I use up the $10 on my Nexus 7, if I can change the Google prepaid card to the one on my LTEvo (using the same card for both devices)? I have money preloaded on the EVO, but it would be kind of annoying to have to preload multiple devices. If you can't share, I guess I'll use up the $10 on the Nexus 7 and then just use my EVO for everything in the future. Can't complain about a free $10 though!

I don't think it can be done. I think each card is strictly tied to each NFC chip. Well, as far as I can tell so far. I find it a bit odd that we can't at least see the cards when logged in on a computer. I'm wondering how long Google will allow people to get the credit on various devices before figuring out they should maybe keep that from happening. I really only need and will use one Wallet device for any given period. Once the credit is gone, I'll have to choose which one I'd keep using and which to dismiss for now.

Yep. That's what I'm planning on doing too. Unless of course, Google lets me share between devices. I don't have a CITI card and have no intention of getting one.

Perfect! I just wish there were more card options unless Im missing something.

NVM I found how to add funds using a normal CC... So basically I just add funds to the google card. Not 100% seamless but a good start!

It isn't even remotely obvious, but when you get to the screen with the citi card, you can slide it left and find the google prepaid card, when you can then click on to add.

Seconding that it is not even remotely obvious. For me, nothing happened until after I'd been playing with it for a while and noticed there was a wallet app in the app selection, when I could have sworn it wasn't there at all just an hour earlier. For me, the $10 occurred only when I checked out the wallet app, not the playstore wallet or through a browser selection.

If you took a recent update that was for the Wallet app.
