Googlemail vs Gmail.

Well I read some article about clearing the caches on google stuff on my hero and now my phone wont sign in to google so i cant download apps or anything. Ive tried everything even switching back to googlemail.com from gmail and still nothing. does anyone know what i can do before i ring orange and get transfered to some indian reading off a piece of paper.

If you clicked "Clear Data" button, you merely detached your device from your Google/Gmail account. You should be able to Sync it back after you set it back up under the Settings > Sync menu option. Hope that helps!?

I eventually jus wiped my hero, and started afresh. when I went in the market all my apps were there it was just clickin them and installin again and my contacts were on my laptop anyways so its all good now
