I am using the GoSMS app and whenever I attempt to send message with more than 150 characters it never sends. I even tried enabling the split large message option but not luck. Is there any way to fix this? Also, the voice input never works. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That's why I switched to Handcent. The voice part works on handcent and the split is 160 characters not 150. I'd love to help more but, I tried everything with GoSMS. I just had to eventually ditch it. If you decide to try Handcent, Let me know. I can help you customize it!

Thanks. I'll try a few suggestions from people and if they don't work then I will switch to Handcent

I decided to switch to Handcent :D

Another option is ChompSMS, which instead of splitting an SMS (might be annoying to receive multiple texts for one message), automatically converts anything over 160 characters to MMS, therefore not having to split the text message.

I'm going to give Handcent a try ... I love this forum!

Because a lot of other people and myself have been having major issues with turning the SMS into MMS (On both stock and app messengers). A lot of messages have been getting lost. I've had to help quite a few of my friends with changing their settings to split instead of convert to MMS. X.x
