Yea sry. I meant to reply but its been while since i did it and Im not sure what to tell you.
I checked my phones sd card and confirmed the file I sent you was the same as the one on my phone. *shrug* I just followed the instructions and it worked.

A few other ppl in this thread sounded like they had the same issue but no one has replied with a solution/cause yet.Only other thing I can think of is yours is fender, mine isn't, but from what ive read here you should still get back to 1.6. Others have with the same file.
Maybe TMO caught onto us and found a way to prevent all future users from downgrading to 1.6
. That way they can make more $$$$.../conspiracy theory
Does anyone remember the original file name? I wonder if that makes a difference.
