Got 4g on verizon yesterday

Just got the 4g LTE and it's a little faster, but not that much faster than 3g. Anybody notice same thing? Don't get me wrong it's faster, but the 5 times faster some are claiming I'm just not seeing it. 20% faster possibly yes 5 times faster umm no.

Something's wrong then. Your jaw should be dropping. It's that big a difference. I can't stand 3G anymore, especially for market updates. I go find a wifi connection if I'm in a 3G area.

Yeah, 4G is amazing in my area! Get the free Speed Test app from the market and see what kind of speeds you're getting. I regularly clock between 15 - 20Mbps down and 0.7 - 1.5Mbps up.

Got it yesterday and its alot faster it loads web pages so much faster. I def won't go back to 3g again.

What speed are you getting on 3g and 4g? I get crappy 3g like 500-800kbps on 4g its between 5-23 mbps I need to figure out how to post pics of my shoot me screen shots so I can show you mine

I have it! Sacramento california. But I get 5 mps

In the crappy corner of my office with 4g I get 8.15Mbps download and .24Mbps upload just now. However outside in a stonger 4g world I got 21.35 Mbps up and 3.27Mbps down when it was just turned on earlier last week.

I dont consider these great speeds.

Download 34.97 36.93 21.19 Mbps
Upload 7.67 4.61 4.32 Mbps
Ping 106 66 101 ms

Idk how you manage that...I get 5 down and 2-3 up. Guess you're lucky.

4G speed varries greatly with the quality of the signal you are getting. If you have 1 bar 4G you are going to have a much slower connection than if you have 3-4 bars.
